24th November 2020 Windsurfing: Rhosneigr Wind Direction: S Wind Stength: F7 Surf / Sea State: Waves Air Temperature: 13 Sea Temperature: 11.8 Weather: Sun Max Speed: Distance Covered: Sunny, windy and waves - brilliant. Momentarily smaller waves as tide turned but many logo and mast high, with head high closer to shore. Waves smooth too, maybe as S wind. Some turns came off, one on logo high though some bombed, Quite gusty and 3.7m would have been ok but not for me in lulls where 4.2m got me going, As I got off tired and before growing waves munched me and gear, wind picked up a notch and bay looked awesome. Well pleased and thrilled in some rides down mast+ waves. Waves are mostly quite soft but occasionally peak up into steep walls so you have to look ahead and turn out of their way, praying you don't fall in, or the pros ride them in the tack out. |
